Miller Named Vice President
Richmond, VA, July 1, 2005. Mark Miller was appointed to the position of Vice President, Cadastra Inc., a Richmond, VA-based company providing parcel data conversion and maintenance services.
Miller's primary responsibilities focus on business development and managing aspects of the company's data conversion production process. This includes project design, quality assurance, project tracking, and data distribution.
With over ten years of experience in the GIS industry, including running a GIS consulting firm for six years (Benchmark GIS), Miller has been involved in all aspects of data development and GIS system implementation with a focus on local government clients. He has served as an adjunct professor of Geographic Information Science at Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin and is an ESRI-authorized ArcView instructor. Miller has won several national recognition awards for his service in the GIS industry.
Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University and has a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Monitoring from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Miller is a founding board member of the Northland Area GIS Users Group and is a member of several local and national GIS and remote sensing professional organizations.
